Sherwin-Williams makes an adhesive primer (about $75/gal) that makes painting interiors very easy. They also have a large selection of oil based paints. We painted our interior 8 years ago, and have enjoyed the variety and contrasts with the interior teak. Now we're preparing to sell that boat so I'm painting it back to white when the weather is warm enough. Resale, nonwhite interior is a detriment. The good part is we now have a new canvas to personalize in our new boat. It also is warmer to add color in a cabin...just stick to light tints.
