A nice day of climbing this past weekend. The route in this video is particularly fun. It's a 5.10d. Short, but overhung and super pumpy with a cool dyno halfway up. The cool thing is - these climbs (over 100 of them) are 5 minutes from downtown Austin and range from 5.6 to 5.14. Freakin' sweet.

I actually established the route out and across the roof you see at the top a few years ago when I was much more hardcore (it's bolted now - wasn't then). But with the kids now climbing with us, and with us sailing quite a bit, I've not been keeping up the 3-times-a-week regimen it takes to pull down 12s and 13s. So, I wimped out on that part and lowered off.
Still, it's fun stuff.
Who's next?
