Make two detachable 1 inch webstraps which can be connected on one end with plactic snap or to an eye hook at the far end of each side of the steps at the bottom of the transome after the bottom step, clip the the other end of the webstap to your stern rails. Pull them taunt with adjustable slides. Your dinghy bottom will be guided to the water instead of the scoop. When the dinghy is stowed. simply detach and store in lazzarette. Will take two minuytes to set up when lowering dingy and since you have those nice steps...easy to do also
