- I told the first story already - he fell off the outside of Mike's ski boat as he was exploring it at the dock
- two trips to the boat later he jumped from the dock to the land (expecting to walk) but he jumped on some flotsam and was rather surprised that he could not walk on the little sticks (Matt 14:30)
(both of these occured on the Saint John river where we live)
- the only time he went in the salt, I was taking him for a ride in the dingy (trying to get him to like it - he still doesn't) and as soon as I was within 10 feet of the sailboat, he heard Linda, saw Mystery and launched himself airborne towards the boat. He's good, but not that good. Splash. He swam like mad towards the stern ladder and I grabbed him as he was trying to climb up the ladder. Still not sure if he would have made it.
He never fell of Mystery, never jumped off Mystery.
He does not like the dingy, and as soon as I get close to the boat, I have to hold his
harness until he is within leaping distance. Same goes to coming into the dock.
Have fun with your cats - we sure have fun with Captain Hook
