Bob Merricks report today is brief since the final race was postponed due to unstable winds. The Olympic organizers have made a provision to extend racing until the 30th should that be necessary to finish the regatta.
We were postponed all day due, as far as we can tell, to unstable winds. The Women's 470s were sent out at 2:20 p.m., but by 3:00 the rest of us were canceled. Pretty soon afterward, the women came in not having sailed a race.We will have our last race tomorrow, God willing.
Stand by for a feature article and photos by Bob to be published on SailNet tomorrow.
