That's the right answer

. But don't do it on a single night because it take time to adjust to sleeping in a small boat in motion. If you take only one night you are probably not going to manage to sleep, make it 3 or four nights and if you are like the typical sailor, on the third night you will have entered on the rhythm and will be able to sleep no matter what. The fact that you will be tired for having slept badly on the previous nights will help
