Yes, we
anchor there all the time when heading south. Its a great stopping point to grab a nice dinner before heading outside to Pelican Bay. As you exit off the ICW, keep close to the island (30 yds or so) until you can make your turn into the anchorage. Be cautious of the shoal in the very middle exactly between Moores and MarVista. I have not tried to exit the anchorage directly to the pass as it looks to shallow, so I backtrack the way I came in and catch the pass via the long way around.
