Feedback on the Farr 39 ML

I have an Aussie mate who is thinking of purchasing a Farr 39 ML & he was after feedback from anyone who has sailed or owned one.

How do they perform?
As he will be racing it offshore on the east coast of oz, how do they handle rough seas & swells?
Has there been any reports of bulkheads cracking?
Do they slam in rough weather?
Are they a heavy weather performer?
What is a good number of crew to have on board?
Do you have to jack up the mast prior to going racing or is the mast permantly stepped on the keel?

Any other feedback or input/advice would be much appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows of one for sail, I would like to hear about that also.
