Centaur, yeah thats how I found the first leak. I left the engine running for 20mins with everything shut. Then went back in and smelled exhaust.

JimsCal, the engine and transmission use the same oil from an oil pan, I think when it overheated the tranny was affected. It was an easy fix, but a pain in arse to apply. lol. I have placed a permanent sign above the ignition "Check Fresh Water Ball Valve before Starting" haha.

I didn't think about the engine buring off excess oil and crap. I check if any oil or crap is on the engine and make sure its clean. Then run again to burn the rest off. Then check again.
