I had a 31 for 16 years and sailed everything except the 44. I crawled through and examined all of them. I did some cruising on a 37 and it is basically a small boat. Moreover, I have never really cared for a head forward layout, particularly offshore. When Crealock designed the 40, he incorporated alot of feedback on the 34/37 design and greatly improved many features. If I had stayed with sailing, the 40 would have been my "dream" boat. Nothing else compares.
