the boat needs to be comfortable for the 2 of us plus 3 kids. (plus they will probably want to bring friends occasionally). I like doing the west highland yachting regattas etc, with a bit of (not too serious) racing. I think we will get as much enjoyment from her when she is stern too in the marina. Therefore, she needs to be comfortable, and spacious. And have a little 'kerb appeal'...

I am reasonably experienced, having crewed on a beneteau 523 for a number of years. But my family are not,, so i need it to be safely sailed from the cockpit as much as is possible.
