The cold start lever operates a rod which comes out of the top right hand side of the cover to the left and slightly above the water
pump.
The stop lever is to the left of this. I've found I dont need the cold start unless it's winter time.Just open the throttle fully [in neutral of course] and start.Hope this helps.
