Hello to all, I'm new to sailing. Been sailing since may 24th weekend when I got my first sailboat, a 25 ft C&C.
With a lot of help from people here on SailNet I have learned about the gear and tips on how to sail. From setting up the
spinnaker to replacing halyard and battens. The wealth of knowledge here is amazing.
We have been able to enjoy the boat very much with lots of over night stays cruising the BC waters around Vancouver Island. Our longest trip was 4 days wow it was fun. Ment other family members who have had sailboats for years and was able to sail are boat to 7 knot on
gps with my wife screaming, swinging and swearing at me. Now she knows that look I get on my face when I want to go fast and she takes over right away. Will it was one way to get her to learn how to sail !!
Just want to thank everyone who has helped me with figuring out my boat. I don't have to ask twice if anyone wants to go sailing. My wife has everything ready before I get home on the weekends to go out on the waters again.
I have crossed the equator 4 times, been to Hawaii 12 times, Alaska 3 times an all around the pacific by Navy ships. Its even more thrilling in are sailboat and people the pacific north west words can't describe it so get out there and go see it !!!!
