We are going to look at a 1984 H34 next week. The boat looks very clean from the pics with engine recently replaced with a yanmar 27hp diesel, less than 300hrs on it. Asking price is $24,900. That seems less than other H34's that look much worse from the pics. I know that the compression post could be an issue, are there any other know big problems to look for before we spend the money on a survey. Does this sound like a good deal? We have been looking for some time now and from the pics and talking with the owner sounds like the best deal we have come across so far. Any thoughts are appreciated.
