cruiseair drip

Down here in TX my cruiseair has been working ot. ive got the drainage tube connected and snaking out the hatch, but it seems that in the middle of the night (of course) all the sudden it starts dripping from the unit itself... is this normal? a function of the condensation due to temperature differential? is there anything i can do about this/anyone else experience this?

thanks!
