Is the drain from the condensation pan clogged? Mine sometimes does clog and I plumbed a "T" to the top of the drain tube with a hose that I can blow through to clear the drain. I secure the open end of this hose well above the AC unit when not in use. There shouldn't be any part of the AC that would drip outside the condensation pan.
