Very true .... few others would have much off season experience up there. Hopefully he'll chime in, or you might send him a PM.

Warmer clothing, obviously, prepare for more rain. Also perhaps you'll find that the inlet outflow winds typical of winter may strengthen later on, but that's not guaranteed either....

Given the odd summer we've had and it's late start, maybe you'll be swimming!!
