Need some quick turnaround help - I'm supposed to be pulled tomorrow (assuming they will do it in the rain that is predicted here in Annapolis), and I cannot find my link to instructions on how to position the jack stands for the P30. I read a posting somewhere that the P30 hull has a tendency to buckle, warp a bit if not properly supported
One Block under the forward section of the keel.
Draw an imaginary line from the furthest aft section of the keel where it meets the hull down to the bottom of the keel ... second block under the keel goes forward of the imaginary line. If any blocking is aft of this imaginary line, the hull will deflect and buckle.
4 jackstands placed at the bulkheads
2 vee poppits - one at the bow and one placed between the rudder post and prop strut.
Rigging is left taught.
Thanks RichH, that's exactly what I was looking for!
