First thing I did was to clean off the spade connector contact; I'll bring the multi-meter down to the boat next time, thanks.
I'm also curious if anyone has had success converting the sender into a direct pressure gauge, as we know that the threads will be the proper size. Being able to the pressure directly should clear up some of the mystery.
I also was surprised that the rag stuck in the oil filter opening wasn't wetter. I had imagined a lot of oil sloshing around inside the valve cover.......?
