Osmosis repair completed now what?
Long story short, I have completely resheathed my hull as a 'more permanent' solution to my osmosis problem and also to rebuild the outer glass layer (foam sandwich hull) after having removed the gellcoat once and then removed the first repair attempt (done professionally by a boatyard using the West System). I have used Bi-axial cloth and epoxy resin. The hull has now been faired using epoxy filler and I am now ready to do the antifoul application.
What should I use (if anything) before applying the antifoul?
Seems unnecessary to now use something like West Barrier System when I have already applied a completely new 'barrier' by way of the cloth and epoxy resin. Should I just apply a hull 'paint' then the antifoul?
