We attached a thru three way bronze ball valve to the thru hull leading to the raw water
pump. When It is time to winterize I attach a hose to the fitting, and down into the antifreeze. I slowly turn over the engine till it draws the antifreeze through the whole system, water
pump, strainer, engine, riser, water mufler and out the
exhaust port.
