Catalina 27's are great boats, but to make sure that you get the info you need, answer a few questions first:
  • If you say "coastal cruising" can we rule out racing?
  • Will you be mooring/anchoring overnight?
  • How many people will typically be sailing her?
  • What is your budget for purchase, then for improvements?
As for gear, the possibilities are endless. What can you tell us about your previous experience?
