Rob, i won't be leaving California until at least May so that beer will have to wait, although i'll probably be in Thailand at least a year, so raincheck.
I am really looking for something in or near Bangkok, even along the Chao Phraya that runs through Bangkok. I'll consider something further up the river, but i am mindful of shallow waters outside the rainy season if one goes too far up. Pattaya is too expensive, although i'd consider it if i found something close that's cheaper than the royal marina there. I'll be staying in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. I don't think i can sail that far up, the waterways are just too shallow that far north outside the monsoon; but i could easily travel between Chiang Mai and Bangkok on a regular basis. A tie-up or spot on the hard would be good. Thanks for all your suggestions, keep 'em coming...
