Does anyone know what this means? "OFF. NO. 512983 NET 5" It's written along the aluminum piece over the cabin door, on the forward side, in huge letters.

Charlie B, When I search 512983 on the USCG documentation site it shows a 25' vessel named Papillon owned by Nicholas Chapman. If this matches your data it is your documentation number. Take care and joy, Aythya crew
