I will shortly be installing a replacement stainless sink. The Admiral decided the old plastic one had to go. The old one had hold down clips to secure it to the cabinet surface, the stainless one has no such clips.

Thinking what material to use to help its adherence, the lip that goes on the formica isn't flat.

Under consideration are such things as:

Plumbers putty
butyl tape?
3m 4200?

Thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
