Maybe show less "walking to here, walking to there" and more "wow, look at this place, it's f'ing amazing". Is the story about walking around a lot? If not, don't bother showing it. Is the story about amazing places and using the boat to get there? Then show that.
I'd also love to see more of life aboard and down below. In what ways are the mundane everyday things not so mundane anymore? Anyone get sick on the crossing? If so, take the camera, get in his face and do a "Bob, how ya feeling man?" You make meals down below or have to prep them all? How was the lack of sleep messing with you?
No auto pitot definitely gets tiring. The compass
has a way to put you to sleep and the wave have a way to keep you a wake. But mostly day trip so we were fine. We prepped food down below.
