Of course, you could buy the back issue for less than a single article IIRC.
However, not all the issues are still available.
BTW, it will depend on how you're planning on using the asym... are you going to use a sock/snuffer or use a wire-luff furling unit. You really need to talk to a good sail loft to get the info on what your choices are. Generally, the wire-luff furling sails are a bit smaller than ones you can set using a sock/snuffer.
The flatter cut sails can be generally used upwind a bit, but are not as good downwind.
