Don't know who sells them that way, but WalMart still sells the acid, so I expect they sell "unwetted" batteries to match. You might try calling your local battery distributor, or the actual manufacturers (i.e. Deka/East Penn, JCI) who would certainly know who they shipped to.

Shipping dry means only the acid has to ship by hazmat, so if there's no local "battery truck" making the rounds, that still makes sense. Also better if there's slow turnover of the inventory, since wet cells have to be sold, charged, installed inside of 30 days or they start degrading.
