Being as we did not see the deck, actual square cut holes in the bottom in a place or two........could have been a fire in the interior, hole was cut after getting to shore to put out an interior cushion fire, or remove the engine.......The core may have been too wet to fix etc.

One may not have had a choice on demolishing the boat. Altho I do agree, not good to see. On the other hand, there are a hell of a lot of older boats out there, still servicable, so losing some, may be better as some new ones may sell, manufactures may start building more in the 25-35' range at a reasonable price per say.......
