Re: Who''s living on what??

I live aboard and single hand my 22' cutter in the PNW. I average less than $700 per month for all of my living expenses, I eat fresh local food and wash it down with wine every night. I don't own a car and payed cash for the boat, she was a bit rough when I found her but well on her way. I was hoping to set sail for Hawaii this year but I may have to settle with Mexico as I am a bit behind schedule. Part of what keeps my living expenses so low is that I sail engine less, do all my own work on the boat, and don't have any electronics. I have never once missed having refrigeration, an engine, or roller furling..., I prefer the freedom simplicity has given me.
