Last November, I bought my first sailboat - a 1974 Sabre 28. I sailed her from Annapolis to the Eastern shore of the Chessapeake (what a nice sailing boat) and dry docked her for the season. When I bought her, I knew that the head was an outdated direct discharge deal that would have to be addressed. I spent a few hours over the weekend, online, looking for info on materials (tanks, hoses, fittings etc.) and a good "how to" article. I can't say I came up with a wealth of info that is written for a boat "dummy" like me. Can anyone comment on good resources and/or offer first-hand advice on tackling this project? Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a kit specificly for this model boat? Recommendations on rigid vs. flexible tank?
Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.
