Mike, I think the West Advisor has the classic article on it. Some stray thoughts:
Buy the best you can, you only want to do this job once. And buy an overhaul kit, because it won't be in stock when you need it two years from now. They all need overhauls, which are always available cheaper than new heads--if you can shop around in advance.
Buy the best guaranteed odor-proof sanitation hose you can find for the actual connections. Don't skimp on it, just bear the pain.
And go with a solid tank if you can, bladders can chafe and wear and be harder to pump out. Make sure to VENTILATE adequately, that's the key to eliminating odor.
And anything Peggy says, just do. Yes, she really has been the #1 go-to head queen for many years, for good reason.
