Put your boat sailing at 40K, let him fall repeatedly from the top of 25ft waves at 25k ...and you will probably will have a boat in small pieces. The efforts these boats are subjected are HUGE.
Sail one of these boats conservatively at cruising speed (and that means fast anyway) and it will be an incredibly strong boat.
