I have created a .gpx file of BVI waypoints that I am happy to share as long as I can find a couple of volunteers to check it first.
I left my
handheld GPS without power over the winter and lost all the waypoints that I had accumulated. I was going to download a set of BVI waypoints from Fine Edge but it doesn’t look like they offer them anymore – so I keyed them into EasyGPS and uploaded them to my
handheld. They correspond to the waypoints on the Fine Edge map (as provided by Conch) and probably the guide as well but as I use the Nancy & Simon Scott Cruising Guide, I can’t be sure. I’m happy to make them generally available once they have been checked and corrected.
If you are prepared to do this I will email the file to you and I can also scan the list from the map if you need it. There are 144 waypoints on the file.
Warning, I am going to insert a couple of deliberate errors to make sure it has been checked properly.
