I use both water and electric at the slip so that would be a must.
My slip is before a large power boat area and so far the traffic on the dock has not been an issue. Typically we go out on weekdays and occasionally on Sunday and the boating season is just getting started so traffic will probably increase.
Good point, I did not think of that, I'll have to check the orientation of the slip.

As far as the traffic, I suspect on this lake with 80 + houseboats in the 50Ft + range there will be a lot of traffic, also did noticed that there are quite few liveaboards on that dock.
