Ha, very interesting Jack. That is almost exactly the setup we have on the Womboat for anything up to and including coastal. If we were to head offshore then I think I'd still deflate it though as I said , I'd lash it to the deck to keep the weight forward. My concern with leaving it inflated on deck is a wave getting in under the thing. Maybe not a problem but even coastal you can get a lot of water on deck, in a big storm I'd worry.
The swing arm arrangement is a beaut. Makes launching the outboard so easy.
