Hello. I know this is an old post but the photo and your comments are great. We have something similar to the plate with two bales on top of our mast and are trying to figure out how to use it to rig our new asym spinnaker. It looks like you have a block attached to the bale. Is the halyared from the sheave fed through the block? If do we get the halyard that runs up the mast and out through the sheave into the block? This sounds like a stupid question but we are newcomers to this wonderful sport.
