I started out thinking of a 14' LOA x 5'4" B Sailing / rowing skiff, but that gets to big for windsurfing and I prefer paddling to rowing.
Current thinking is 12' LOA- 3' B -12" Depth,, kind of a big surfboard with CB, and cockpit 6" or 8" deep w/ self storing, hatches to provide a flush deck.

What would you think max. car top weight for hull only should be ?
( sails , spars, rudder and rigging would self store, but would be removable to facilitate handling.)
It occurs to me that plenty of flush handles would greatly facilitate car topping. Most boats don't have good places to grab onto.
