Ok here it goes.
First thing that happened before engine shut off was the rpm started to dance all over the scale. First thing I checked was the
fuel pump and I had no suction when I pumped it, so I replaced it with a new
pump and got plenty of suction, but still no action. I also loosend up the return
line from the
fuel injector
pump(advice from everglades diesel that rebuilt the
pump 4 month ago) but still nothing.
And yes i bleed the system 3 times but no. also when I bleed from the injector pump to the injectors I only get a drip (i'm doing it one
line at the time)
When I pump
fuel from the
fuel pump to the injector pump plenty of pressure comes from the pump, but something is not adding up because every time I open up the filter canister, its half full ?? Is that normal or? May I have a leaking
line somewhere? I haven't seen a leak but then again i can barely get my big head in all the way to see whats really going on in there.
