A quick question for anyone who might be able to help. Continuing with my keel
problem, I've posted the dimension sand pictures of the keel in a "Irwin 45
Center Cockpit Swing Keel" album. The metal alone weighs 248 Lbs and you can
add another 40 - 50 lbs for the fiberglass cover we took off her. That seems
(to me) to be awfully heavy for the mechanism that's in place to raise and lower
her... Any thoughts or opinions/answers would be greatly appreciated as I'm
thinking of scrapping her and getting a new one fabricated ... Thanks
