Hi, there is a brown and blue wire that are coming from the float switch (sensor) to the box (shown coming in off the bottom). We believe that when the float switch moves up (from water in the shower basin) it completes the circuit. We know there is power coming to the box as the manual switch (the black one) turns the Whale Pump on. We have jumped the two terminals for the brown and blue wires and it did not turn it on therefore we believe the chip in this plastic sealed box may have been damaged over the winter as it worked fine last fall.
