You'll need to replace the Whaler pump kit. We carry a spare pump so we don't have to pull the whole sump out. Best $250 I ever spent. As liveaboards the pump gets a daily workout, but they don't last more than 6 months of steady use. The best advice we can give is using a drain screen in the shower not an inline filter. Once when I took the pump apart I found a small piece of bar soap had gone down the drain and had lodged itself against one of the check valves effectively making the pump inoperative. Many type of cleaners especially anything caustic or containing bleach will also destroy the pump.
