Re: L&A Has Been Sold
Truthfully, I thought the L&A magazine was pretty lame. Contrast it to Latitude 38 which has an almost religious cult following. I read every issue of Lat 38 for the first 15 years or so, and then when I moved away lost touch with it. People pass around copies instead of throwing them out. The letters to the editor were fantastic, and that was helped by the environment. San Francisco Bay sailors are a cut above the rest. I know I sailed, raced, and taught there for 12 years. One design racing in San Francisco is on par with the Olympics.
