If money is an issue then a
furler will be unlikely... if you do go to a
furler keep in mind most of those sails will likely need recutting because you'll lose some luff-length due to the height of the drum, and the need for room for the swivel on the foil. (still cheaper than selling and buying, though - unless the sails are due replacement anyway in which case it may be not worth putting any more money into them.)
Without a
furler, luff-tape headsails are definitely a pain for singlehanded sailing. Genie's idea of adding your own hanks makes good sense.
