Open the compression release & try to turn the motor over by hand very slowly. Use the manaul crank or a socket @ the fly wheel. Be very careful, you are not trying to start the motor, you just want to see if it'll turn & go thru a compresion cycle. Be sure the fuel feed cut off is pulled in the out position before attempting this & pay attention to where your body parts are.
If the motor turn over, take the air cleaner off, spray WD40 in the intake, close the compression release, open the fuel & hit the switch.
I'm not happy unless I'm complaining about something.
