Re: chain plates

It looks like the chain plates are welded to a plate of some sort. We have the same sort of setup on our boat. I'm slowly getting access to each backing plate on the inside of the boat. Before we go off shore, I'll need some time and dry weather to disconnect all the standing rigging and pound the suckers through the deck so they can be redone. That should be a lot of fun.
