My experience on this - a few years ago a neigboring boater missed his mooring pickup and put the bow of his Hunter 32 through my split stern rail. A local SS fabricator quoted $900 to build and INSTALL a replacement. I found a source for CS part in Canada that had original rails, fit not guaranteed due to possible construction variance over the years, but only $500.
Had a EOM rail shipped to our boatard, it didn't quite fit by a half inch here or there, and subsequent hours of heating and bending to fit cost about $600.
Morale - paying someone local to build a replacement may be the way to go.
