Re: Has anybody gone the sub £5k route for a liveaboard?

I have a W28- plenty of room for several couples to ____ if needed, she's a sturdy boat and doesn't rock much....

The W28 doesn't have a specific place for a shower, but you can adapt it with a little shower pan/sump. The coolbox i have only draws a small amount, do-able with solar. In the UK, you could probably just do what WingNwing says about managing without a frig, just using ice occasionally if you want cold stuff (e.g. white wine for the potential ____.)

I'd say the W28 you are looking at would be move-aboard ready if she is dry- you might wanna check if there are any leaks e.g. from stanchions etc. Or more realistically, if there are WAY too many leaks. or just get some plastic boxes for storage to keep stuff dry.

Good luck!
