Re: C&C 30 MKII Questions?
I don't "keep" anything on my furler at all.
I have 4 headsails. 90,110,135,150. I decide which sail is best for the conditions of the day and I rig that sail. If I have to change headsails while sailing, I have a dual groove foil and two genoa halyards.
The conditions around here change so much that it's not worth leaving anything on the furler, although almost everyone does.
Reefing the main before I reef the headsail keeps a better balance on the helm.
We have three rules;
No bleeding on the sails.
No slobbering on the charts.
