My Balmar Alternator has died on me and I have a Valeo A13N234 60Amp to replace it while the Balmar is repaired. My problem is that I do not know how to connect it up to my starter battery. It has 4 terminals on the back plate labled B- B+ W and D+. The B+ has a Spade clip with a yellow wire connected and this runs into the internal regulator. The D+ also has a spade connector.
Please help.
As you have had no reply on this forum, try the UK forum, ybw.com, Reader to Reader. Quite a few sailors from the USA regularly post on there - Stu Jackson for one.

You can also send a PM to "halcyon" once you have joined. He is the owner/manufacturer of KDD Powercentre. If he doesn't know.......
Sorry I cannot be of help.
